HD Media player with analog video recording

• HV359V is a versatile HD Media Player with analog A/V recording support. Content source can be from internal 3.5" HDD, USB drive, streaming from local network server or internet. 

Convert analog AV to digital MPEG-2 format, instant or scheduled

• HV359V is also an easy-to-use video recorder. You can convert your analog contents from old video tapes or other analog sources to MPEG-2 encoded files. Just connect to the video input and hit the record button. You can also schedule a recording using the on-screen schedule recording menu. The recorded files can be played back directly from HV359V. Or, you can back up or burn a DVD using a PC with DVD burner.

Extensive 1080p HD codec and file format support 

• HV359V has extensive codec and file format support, including H.264, VC-1, Xvid, WMV, AVCHD encoded contents in MKV, AVI, M2TS, IFO/VOB format. 

Network and internet streaming

• HV359V can stream contents from your local home network servers or from internet. The player is a SAMBA as well as a uPnP client. The contents on your media server can be streamed to the player via wired or wireless network (USB wi-fi dongle required). 
• Internet service like YouTube, MediaFly, Last.fm, Picasa, Flickr are supported. Weather condition can be viewed directly on TV. Firmware upgrades will be released as more internet services are added.
• With DLNA server (like PlayOn) running on a PC, you can stream the channels supported by the DLNA server and view the playback on the big-screen TV via HV359V. Netflix, Pandora, Hulu and other popular internet channels can be streamed to the TV just like watching them on the PC.

Sharing internal HDD over home network and Bit Torrent client

• HV359V is also a SAMBA server when an internal HDD is installed. Internal HDD is not required to operate HV359V as a player only. However, internal HDD is required for recording function to work. HV359V can act as a network server and allow other PC or networked player access to the internal HDD. Users can playback or manage contents located on the internal HDD over the network. 
• User can also set up Bit Torrent download from a PC and leave HV359V to complete the download without tying up PC resources.

HDMI, composite A/V, component video and digital audio output

• HV359V's output terminals include V1.3 compliant HDMI, component video, composite video, analog and optical digital audio outputs.

Display photos or slideshow with background music

• A photo slide show with background music is another perfect way to enjoy this little media player. Just copy the music to the folder that has the photos, or navigate to the photo folder after playing the music. They can be located on the internal HDD, USB drives, or over the network server. Different transition effects and interval can be configured in the setup menu.

Convenient DVD menu support and play DVD folder and ISO file 

• Back up your DVD collection and never have to worry about scratching disc again. HV359V supports all DVD navigation and allow you to use it exactly like a DVD player with DVD disc. Bluray menu navigation is, however, is not supported. But you can still select audio channel and subtitle using the Audio and Subtitle key on the remote.

Multiple OSD and subtitle languages

• 17 menu languages and 11 subtitle text encoding supported
