Bought this coffeemaker after realizing that I was wasting coffee by using a big 12 cupper just to make a single cup. Its a stylish looking coffeemaker and its small enough that it doesn't take up too much room on the countertop. I am using it with a blade grinder with light beans to make a cup of black coffee. I was afraid that I might be forced to use it with the supplied mug (like other coffeemakers can only be used with the supplied carafe, e.g. models seen in motel rooms), but that is not the case, it can be used to brew into any mug of your choice. Overall, a great value for less than $20.

This is actually my second Brew 'N Go coffee maker - I am taking this one to work. I find it very easy to use and have none of the problems that some have indicated. I use a paper filter because it is easier for clean-up. I have no trouble with the coffee grinds getting into the cup, and I have not experienced any problem with the on/off switch. I use a regular cup rather than the travel cup because I don't drink that much at one time, and it is easier to use. I put a rounded tablespoon of coffee to 8 oz of water. True, some of the water evaporates, but I try to allow for that in the amount of water I start with. I give this an A+.

This is an excellent one cup coffee maker. It takes a little experimenting to determine how much coffee to use for desired strength. I use one a 1/8 heaping coffee scoop.
Auto shut-off is a great feature. It prevents the unit from running all day in case you forget to turn it off when you leave for work.
There is a design flaw. I observed that the water tended to overflow the filter. I discovered the reason: the hole in the bottom of the filter holder is too small - the water enters the filter faster than it can drip into the cup. Simple solution: take a few drill bits and by hand increase the diameter of the hole to about 3/16 of an inch. No more overflow.

This is a great fast single coffee maker. Perfect for that one person 'large' cup. The travel cup actually does fit into my vans cup holder. The coffee is hot right after it is brewed, but it does not have a heating system, so will start to cool immediately, which is not a problem. Just start the coffee maker a few minutes before you need it and go.
In this case, more is not better. Do not fill the coffee maker to the top with water, leave a little space, about 1/2 inch. This will solve the overflow problem. It is better to sacrifice that couple ounces of potential coffee than to clean up the overflow mess.
I really like the permanent filter. After using the paper filters for so long, and always running out of them, the permanent filter is great to work with and cleaning is a faucet away.
Overall, a great unit for that single coffee user.

I recently read all of the customer reviews on this product and found myself laughing. Doesn't anyone know how to brew a cup of coffee? This product is excellent and I haven't had one single problem with my Brew 'n Go.
I've heard that it overflows; that they can't pour the water into the unit; that the coffee tastes like rubber; that the maker turns on magically--or won't turn on at all; that coffee grounds get everywhere, etc. I think the problem must be with the users themselves.
The first time I used this, I read the instructions beforehand, plugged it in, put my 2 tablespoons of coffee into the filter-- which is great I might add--filled my cup up with water, poured it in, added sugar and creamer to my cup, put the lid on, put it under the brewer, hit the switch, then had a steaming cup of wonderful coffee in seconds. I got to throw out my electronic mug warmer, too, since the coffee stays hotter longer.
This product is great for people on the go, for people who only drink a cup of coffee a day, and for people who don't like to spend an eternity cleaning up!
