Detailed Description
| This Evaporative Air Cooler, Humidifier, Air Filtration and Fan with Ionizer is versatile and an economical way to cool and humidify the surrounding air. Designed with micro-computer control system, this unit can lower surrounding temperature and humidify the air through the principal of water evaporation. The Cooler easily rolls from room to room with lockable casters. This Air Cooler shoots a stream of air with oscillating louvers, to evenly distribute refreshing cool air. Can also be used as a fan or humidifier if temperature is not an issue. The remote control allows you to easily change settings.
The Air Cooler works by endothermic reaction (a reaction that consumes heat), so this evaporative Air Cooler sucks air through a wick saturated with water. As the air flows through the wick, some of the water evaporates into the air, consuming the heat that was in the air. An air stream is then blown out the front of the unit and is considerably cooler than the current room temperature! This is not an air conditioner and therefore uses much less energy.
Note: The unit works well in dry climates; not very effective in areas with high humidity as the unit utilizes water to cool.

- What is a portable air cooler?
A portable air cooler is a device that utilizes evaporative cooling to provide an air stream that is cooler than the surrounding air.
- Is this an air conditioner?
No, this is an air cooler. This unit will not lower the ambient temperature in the room in which it is installed as an air conditioner would. The air stream that it provides is cooler than the ambient temperature, but once you step outside the air stream, you will no longer feel the cooling effects. However, an air cooler does not require a vent as an air conditioner would, and you do not need to empty any condensation bucket.
- Does an air cooler add humidity to the air?
Yes, an air cooler does. It cools through the endothermic process of evaporation, and because of this, it adds some humidity to the air.
- Do I have to fill it with water?
Yes, you do have to fill the air cooler with water to achieve maximum cooling.
- How can I lower the temperature of the air stream?
Try putting ice in the water reservoir.
- How long does the water last?
A full tank of water should last at least several hours of use on "High."

I live in Florida and I am using this. Even though it says high humidity it works well in a a small room. ive save a lot of money off my light bill by not running central air.... great product ... a must have
