After 35 years of ownership, my old aluminum Presto pressure cooker needed replacing. We bought the aluminum model because we felt it was a better value than stainless. It works just as well as the original. Easy to use. Only slight change in design. We have faith it will also last many years.

I've used many pressure cookers and this one is the most reliable one! Sturdy, easy to clean and cooks everything quickly & evenly. This 6-quart is a wonderful size when preparing meals for 3-5 people.

Terrific product, does what it claims.. value for money. Note: Would recommend pushing in the lid ON, AFTER your stuff starts to boil, especially if you want the water-level to go down slightly. Otherwise, loss of water is very low. It's now almost over a year now, use daily, but NO ISSUES whatsoever - in fact gasket is as good as new and the amazing thing is the body still SHINES!!

have owned Presto Pressure Cookers for over 40 years and wouldn't be without one. My mother and grandmother also used them throughout their lives. Pressure cookers save time in cooking and food comes out tasty and tender. I have used other brands, but keep coming back to the Presto. Their quality has remained superb with each model change. I highly recommend them. The 6 quart size is good for larger families and meals. For small meals or a couple with no children, the 4 quart is perfect. I have both sizes.

After 39.5 years, I wanted a new pressure cooker & opted to get another Presto. Am so pleased with this product. Important: If you are new to pressure cookers, read the instructions & read them again; then, just before you begin, read them again! Have always had great success with my pressure cooker & am enjoying my new shiny one. Well worth the investment
