Main Features:
- Pressure canning is the only method recommended safe by the U.S.D.A. for low-acid foods such as vegetables, meats and fish.
- The easy-to-read gauge automatically registers a complete range of processing pressures.
- Air vent/cover lock allows pressure to build up only when the cover is closed properly and prevents the cover from opening until pressure is safely reduced.
- Presto® Pressure Canners also double as water bath canners* for preserving fruits, jams, jellies, pickles and salsas.
- Canners are constructed of extra-strong, warp-resistant aluminum and are suitable for use on regular and smooth-top ranges. Includes cooking/canning rack and complete instruction and recipe book.
- Mason Jar Capacity: 12 Half-Pints, 10 Pints, 7 Quarts.

It is so much better than I expected. Really top notch quality and it is very large so it will accommodate all of my recipes. Looks like it will hold an entire turkey if I want!

I am new to canning, and I am so glad I chose this product. It is big enough yet still fits in my cabinet, and it is quality construction. I had the pressure gauge tested at the Co-op extension, and it was accurate. My batches so far have been successful, and pretty easy. FYI, if you use it as a pressure cooker, it makes between 15-20 servings. I recommend this product!

This item met all my expectations, It came with rack to lift jars up, plus a how to do book, that will be most useful. With the way prices keep going up in grocery store, this item is a must. I have had one before, when my children were little, and just had to get another one. This one is a lot lighter weight that the old one I had, and that is great also.
