This electric tea kettle boils up to a full quart of water superfast (even faster than a microwave) for tea, instant coffee, hot chocolate, gelatin desserts, hot cereals, instant soups and more.

I bought this teakettle online after searching the stores for something similar. I drink tea several times a day, and my office is a ten minute walk from the cafeteria. This way, I drink tea whenever I want at a fraction of the cost. The water heats up very quickly, and the teakettle never seems too hot to hold. Everyone who sees it wants one of her own.
Highly recommended!

We had one in our office breakroom for about 6 years before it died. I looked at other kettles to replace it, but decided to buy the same one because we know when the water is boiling because of the whistle.

I actually own two of these kettles for several years now. One at home, and one to make a quick tea/coffee at work. They make a quick job of boiling water, have a very loud whistle and just excellent overal. One thing to notice though - it will only hold three to four cups of water. Perfect for a small family, but not enough if you have more than 2 tea drinkers at home. I have not seen rust on either pot I own, so it's possible that the other reviewer had a bad unit.

SI absolutely love it. It heats the water in two minutes, which comes in handy for jello and hot chocolate and any thing else you need boiling water for. Wouldn't live without one.

Nice compact size and holds enough water for a pot of tea. Heats quickly and has a fill line so it doesn't boil over when done. Very practical and extremely well priced based on other models. It is a "basic" kettle but I would buy it again.
