This device supports almost all formats of HDD and has the most interchangeability. The Prodigi PD-100N can also connect to your home computer network (wired or wirelessly through an optional USB Wifi Dongle) to stream digital movies, videos, music, and photos from your PC. This player provides flexible networking support via either SAMBA client or UPnP to access thousands of digital content stored around your home. You and your family can even watch photo slide show with your favorite music playing in the background.

This thing plays everything! Nothing flashy here, if that's what you're looking for. It does one thing extremely well, it PLAYS everything! (h264/x264 MKV, mp4, mov, mpg (mpeg1&2), DVD ISO's, BD ISO's, you name it!)
So go ahead and download your torrents of TV shows and Movies, then stream them right to this great device!

well,i own 4 Western digital media plyer and 1 patriot box office media player.WD digital can not play all the video file i have and video not as smooth and some audio not support.Patriot box office media plyer,play pretty much all the video file,the cooling fan little noisy and have issue update firmware.back to PD-100N,play all the video file have,mkv,rmvb,avi and wmv and no problem with audio,video,subtitle and easy to update new firmware.working great so far.

First of all, I'd like to say this media player is EXCELLENT and that is with all the features I need: 1080p HD video playback, DVD menu, video preview, "Time Search" feature to locate a specific time in a video, resume playback, fast/slow forwarding/rewinding and playlist. Most of the important, of all the file formats it supports, I like RMVB most since 80% of my video files are in this format. H.264, 720p / 1080p AVI mkv videos are handled perfectly.
I love this player and I recommend it! Not to mention the company provides great customer service with prompt reply.
