Good product for the price.

I purchased this heater for a medium size bedroom. It works great on the high setting and heats the room up very fast. Once the room heats up the low setting maintains the warmth. I love the oscillating feature because it distributes the heat more evenly. The heat replicates the sun rays and is good for me because I suffer from seasonal affective disorder. Living in the northern states during the winter with the lack of sun is depressing but this heater makes me feel like I basking in the sun. I have noticed that my two cats love the sun-like warmth of the heater. They like to sleep and groom near it. Again a good heater for the price. I have purchased higher priced heaters and was not as pleased as I am with this one.

Purchased this heater for just basic heating and was pleasently surprised at the amount of heat this heater put out. I would recommend this purchase to anyone. If you have a room you want to heat and do it resaonably cheat. This heater is the one you should purchase.

I bought this heater back in September to warm my bedroom, which given renovations now doubles as my office. I spend many hours in there doing work and needed something to keep it comfortable as it isn't insulated yet and doesn't maintain heat as well as the rest of my home, despite the baseboard heat, which is. To keep from freezing in there an efficient space heater is a must as the only other ways to keep warm are to bundle up like an Eskimo or turn the thermostat up. Which is both costly and would only serve to turn the rest of the place into a boiler. When set to low, this unit turns the room into a toasty place after about a half hour (no space heater warms up a large room with high ceilings as well or as quickly) using a third the energy of a ceramic heater with a blower. It's largely quiet, save for an unintrusive humming sound from the oscillating motor and delivers a nice, warming glow akin to what a fireplace casts. I've found that it works best when mounted atop a short table (three feet off the floor) and with the door closed to keep draft down. Considering that this and slower oil filled radiators are the only real efficient space heaters going that are quiet, you'd be remiss to buy anything else.
