At work they tend to keep the office fairly cold. I bought this as something to keep near me while I work yet not be obtrusive. It performs that job admirrably.

I've been using this little heater for a couple of months. I saw in another review that the author wished it had a handle -- it does have one, but it's inset. I've been worried a couple of times that the heater broke -- it has a safety switch that doesn't let the heater come on if it's tipped or isn't on a hard surface. But it worked fine once I realized that you can't run it on a carpet. I set it up right next to me at my desk. It keeps me warm and works well.

This is by far the best space heater I've seen. I have different models and this one is extremely quiet. It has a switch on tbe bottom that turns it off automatically if tipped over, which is a nice feature

I bought this heater after reading reviews on Amazon and other websites. My office is too cold. If I wear a skirt in the summer, I have to go outside to warm up every couple of hours. I needed a heater that is small and quiet enough that nobody would notice when I hide it under my desk. This is just the perfect one! It is not bulky at all, and the noise level is well below my expectation. I can only hear it working if I put my ear within 1 feet of it. Otherwise, complete silence in my office. Very happy with my purchase so far. Don't know about the quality yet, but I hope it will last a while.
