What a fabulous product,

How can anyone complain about this thing making too much noise? It's a barely audible, peaceful and serene running brook sound -- the kind that I and millions of others have actually paid for as part of our clock radios. And if you're not bothered by the light from clock radio displays, the very small and very dull light this humidifier emits won't bother you a bit. It's a really cool, dim and sort of psychedelic neon light. I wouldn't want it any other way. If they do ever change it I hope they give purchasers a choice rather than getting rid of the light altogether. Given a choice, I'd take one with the light. It's one of things that gives this little contraption its aura and uniqueness. And at night when it's pitch black, it provides a beacon to the unit. This humidifier is a great product. It looks great, sounds great and does the job impeccably. And, no, it doesn't leak, not one drop.

So tiny, so convenient! Easy solution for too bright light.,

I've always used humidifiers in the winter season. The huge, heavy tank, the cleaning, ugh! Recently, I developed dry eye and was told by my doctor to use a humidifier to help with the nighttime dryness. After searching Amazon and using the very helpful reviews, I ordered this little dynamo. You don't need a lot of water. You don't need to humidify the whole room...just the area near your head. This unit is almost amazingly SMALL. Quiet. Convenient. I bought distilled water from the supermarket, store it in the bathroom and fill a 16 oz water bottle every other day. It was never practical to use distilled water before, in the usual gallon humidifier tank, even though it is recommended. Who wants to buy/cart that much water? This little beauty does the job. Lots of cool mist. In fact, on the high setting, it can soak the pillow case, so I keep it at about 1/2 setting. Every morning I take off the nozzle and top, pour out the remaining water and let everything air dry during the day. The bright light in the well was a problem, but I took a suggestion from this site and put a small piece of black electrician's tape over it. This doesn't seem to effect it's function at all, but I do wish the manufacturer would address this issue, as it is the main complaint. I recently traveled with it, and it was great. Of course, it has helped through the winter cold season and the spring sinus season. Highly recommend it. Great product.

I have been using this unit every night for about a month now. It is working perfectly every time. I am using a water bottle with tap water and a drop or 2 of hydrogen peroxide. This is super convenient and my sinus problem is much improved! I disassemble the unit each morning and let it dry until that night. Very easy to use!!!

On multiple occasions when traveling we have had to buy a humidifier. The ones we already had were too big or fragile (the water reservoirs) to easily take with us. Additionally, they tended to spray water out onto furniture etc...that's why I thought I'd give this very compact and not fragile (uses standard drinking water bottles available anywhere) a try. We were skeptical due to the size of this humidifier, but when we used it in our daughters room when she got a cold, and were shocked how well it worked for us. At first, we thought it was going to run out of water too fast, but that was because of the initial fill-up of the device itself. A bottle of water lasted longer than we ever thought (at least 8 hours or more). My wife stated she could tell the difference when she walked in to the room. It also did not make a water mess everywhere. Additionally, it has a cool looking light so you can tell if it's misting or not. It's size makes it perfect for travel. Just make sure you put it someplace where it would not get knocked over as it's top heavy with the water bottle on top. Highly recommende

I live in the North East and it gets pretty cold in the winter. I suspected that the humidity in my office (where I spend a good part of my waking hours each day) is too low so I brought a humidity monitor back to find out just how low it was. 16% - that's too low for comfort. A comfortable humidity level is between 40-50%, most studies suggest. I checked with the office manager and she said the building we're in actually uses baseboard heating (only A/C in the summer is forced air convection) and therefore has no humidity control at all so there's nothing she can do. So I bought this little puppy predominantly for office use and I love it. It's small so it doesn't take up much desk space and it gives out a good amount of cool mist and it's totally quiet. I also packed it for a ski trip recently (those ski lodges can be very dry also) and its small size makes it easy to carry on trips and it served the purpose of adding much needed moisture to the room. There is an adjustment dial at the back that controls the rate at which the mist is generated. I usually have it set at half strength and it does the job nicely for my office. The fact that it uses adaptors to allow you to plug in ordinary bottled water means that when you carry it on trips you don't have to lug around a big water tank like most other humidifiers on the market - great design. The only complaint I have is that it also doubles as a night light when you turn it on and during the ski trip that blue light is just way too bright in an otherwise completely dark bedroom and my wife is the type that can't sleep if there is ANY light in the room (me? I slumber under all conditions!) so I ended up wrapping some black electric tape around the clear plastic nozzle to block the light :-) Enjoy.
