Ok, all kidding aside - I bought this for my cubicle in a fairly large shared office, placing it just about a foot from my left hand. It is very quiet, tank held enough water to keep full blast going all day and made a slight (relaxing) gurgling sound inaudible to anyone else by someone right next to it. It may likely last up to two work days as I plan to turn it off at night. A colleague commented that he noticed a difference in my area from 6-7 feet away.
Sure, I got teased at first (bought a goofy one on purpose) but after feeling miserable for weeks I felt 1000% better in a matter of hours and my screaming sinuses are free, contact lenses/eyes - normal. Cutesy novelty aside, it works better than other like (and more expensive) machines we bought for our home in the past. Delighted with the purchase and did not realize just how miserable I was until all of the discomfort was gone very quickly. My documents and PC are fine - no excess moisture issues. I highly recommend it if you are OK with cool mist. Well worth a daily refill and NO FILTERS. Keep in mind, it needs distilled or filtered water so it helps to have that around. The price was great and Prime delivery arrived on time.

This humidifier came highly recommended from my mother, who bought one for sinus issues. I wanted to get one for the same reason, and because we have a wood stove, combined with forced hot air heat, all which can be incredibly drying.
My critieria was simple: no filter to deal with (been there, done that!) and no wet residue left behind. This fits the bill - the mist is cool and strong and it doesn't leave any wetness on your walls, floors, anywhere!

I can't speak for UnbeatableSale because I got mine from [...], but this is an excellent humidifier. I chose this one because of all the positive reviews on [...] site. Barely any cleaning is needed, only his little hat gets a tad dirty and you can wipe that off. It's easy to fill and use and makes hardly any sound, important for my light sleeper. My sons room is small but on low it does it's job without opening and doors or windows. I highly recommend it!

I have been using this humidifier for several nights. It is so quiet that you barely know it is on. The mist is very fine and gentle. I have had no problem with leaking or condensation. I have always used distilled water in my humidifiers because we have very hard water in our area. So, I really have no need for an expensive filter. It is super easy to fill and use. I was looking for a very quiet humidifier for a bedroom. I had purchased a different brand (Hunter) humidifier because the box says that it is supposed to be "ultra-quiet." It has a much more forceful motor and puts out quite a bit of vapor, which may be useful in certain circumstances. But it sounds like a big truck motor compared to the quiet little penguin.
