The NFA Thermal Magic Cooker makes cooking easy and enjoyable. Boil ingredients in the inner pot over a flame (pre-cooking). After boiling, place the entire inner pot into the outer pot. The outer pot's vacuum stainless steel construction maintains the high temperature of the inner pot for slow cooking (heat-retention cooking), easily cooking foods that require low heat. There is no need to worry about spilling, burning or boiling dry.
Since no flame is used while cooking by heat retention, it is safe to leave the house before cooking is done. No gas or electricity is used during heat-retention cooking, so it is also very economical. Since the food stays warm, there is no need to reheat so people can eat at different times, even after six hours.

Awesome for soup

We bought this after the recommendations from my sister, mom and aunt. Apparently, this gadget is very popular in Hong Kong. It is so easy to cook Chinese soup now. We bring the ingredients in the inner pot to boiling for 20-30min the night before, then let it simmer inside the thermo cooker. Next AM, take the inner pot out and bring it to a boil (takes 8-10min) and put it back inside the thermo cooker. By the afternoon after work, nice delicious soup awaits when we come home. This is a well made Japanese product and make cooking soup a breeze. Highly recommended.

I live in Hong Kong and this is advanced version of the crock pot! You can not imagine what this pot does! It make great soups, stews, stock all while you are away. Most of the time I put whatever I want to prepare in the pot, bring it to a rolling boil for 10 minutes (depending on the density of the food), take it off the stove and close it up over night. The next morning, I put it in the fridge. Great soups, pot roast, lamb stew, chili, many comfort foods without so many calories - you keep all the natural flavors "in the pot" while it's cooking. My husband and I gave everyone in our immediate family a pot and after two years, they discovered how wonderful it is....now they can't live without them! Great to store food for tailgating and other outings! And you don't use any energy after the initial boiling! A must for busy people.....I can't say enough about "THE POT!"

I'm happy with this thermal cooker. It is great for making soup. It cooks the meat very tender and keeps the soup warm for extended hours. Time, energy and effort saving!!!
